My time in Sukhothai, a city in northern Thailand, left a special impression. As part of my five-month trip through Southeast Asia, I lived and worked there for three weeks in November 2018. During this time, I had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects with other travelers and volunteers. As a result, this film is to be understood as a joint project. It arose independently of the city and bears the origin in our fascination for this place and its people. We want to thank the residents of Sukhothai for the experiences we have made, the friendships we have made and our new home. As we said goodbye, a local told us briefly and happily:
“The greatest thing you can do is give to others.”Â
